Hi, Iβm Evan, the Founder of Fauna Memorials.
I started Fauna Memorials because, as a designer, I saw a lack of cremation urns that felt personal, thoughtfully designed, or truly unique. In moments of loss, the objects we choose should carry more than function. They should hold meaning, reflect individuality, and honour the lives they represent.
Fauna was born from the belief that thoughtful design can create something distinctive, comforting, and worthy of the stories we want to remember.
Thoughtful Materials
Fauna urns are made from a lightweight, mineral-infused resin composite with a smooth, refined matte finish.
Our material allows us to create crisp sculptural detail without the weight of traditional stone or ceramic. It is durable, easy to handle, and selected in part for its lower environmental impact.
It produces approximately 70% less COβ than the conventional material it replaces, reflecting a more considered approach to both design and environmental impact.
Thoughtfully Designed
Every Fauna urn is designed and made to order at our workshop in Vancouver, British Columbia.
We proudly design and produce our urns in Canada, with a focus on thoughtful design, quality, and care. Each piece is made to order and carefully considered as a lasting memorial.
